im not sure really everybody has an opinion and everybody thinks that there opinion is right, so if you are trying to convince someone it might take a while it just depends what it is you are trying to convince them about! good luck

What do they say “people will believe what they fear to be true and what they want to be true” might work with that.
Likes to be tactful and steer the conversation subtly in such away that they think they came up with the idea all on their own.
Other times we might just be blunt and just tell them how it is.

Be Honest..... if you are right they will believe you.. you dont need to convince them.
if you are right and they dont believe you again be honest,.. sooner or later they will realise that you were right and next time onwards they will have more trust on you.
Honestly is best medicine and its works 100%

ehhh i dont try to convince em. i usually let them just come back and say "you know you were right". to which i respond with either a "well I did not want to make your decison for you/had to let you learn on your own" or a sarcastic jaw dopped open "really.."

I find it more amusing to let them blunder on hopelessly on their own and allow them to discover it for themselves.
Also, it's a good back-up plan in case I'm actually wrong.

look honest (no smiling) valid reasons and give time to hear what they have to say...I figure most liers talk so much they get caught by self contradiction.
