Do you sometimes feel darined that its one sided give+take,even tho you love them dearly.

shebee, I was with a man for almost 21 yrs. He was what I consider high maintenance. I rarely asked for anything. I gave to everyone else constantly. He took advantage of my generosity, as well as everything else I had. And my silly @ss allowed it to continue far too long. He would go on business trips and blow money like it grew on trees. While I worked, went to school and stayed home with our children, basically penniless. I love him because he is the father of my children but there is no way I would ever get involved with anyone who is high maintenance. I'm too wise for that at this point in the game.
Yes, I felt drained in every way imaginable. High maintenance people are just too much of a hassle for me to deal with.

most males are like that aren't they lol??? just kidding hahah but hubby is like that a bit at times & at the moment he has an injury & its getting me down because he wont go to the Dr but he will say all the time how bad it is & then he will dig in the garden & start it all off again so yeah!! :) & i hate it when he has a cold OMG

Definitely, I have had a few in my life that wanted one set of rules for me and the opposite for them. Doesn't work that way.

I have friends that are high maintenance....but I'm not the one doing the maintaining it's the guys they have sex with that do that.
