It is a complete double standard. There is no scholarships for white people only because that is racist. Unfortunately when you have to level the playing field by giving something to a certain group you have to take away something from another group. It sucks, it's bull crap, but we just have to live with it. I would like to see some accurate census info. I don't think white people are the majority anymore in the US.

Outdated? No, as long as you have racists and bigots and the Ku Klux Klan and their offshoots. They are supposed to be acting as watchdogs for the "advancement" of colored people, specifically "black" or African American. I am a person of color, though my color has been treated as almost transparent. I am a Japanese American and never asked for anything but, a fair break. My grandparents, aunts, uncles and parents were imprisoned for being Japanese Americans by FDR Executive Order 9066, because of the racist state the country was in. Did the NAACP stand up for the Japanese? No. Did the Chinese American caucus stand up for our rights? No. Not even the Japanese American Citizens League stand up against it. They were for it. They became the Japanese spokesmen. Which they weren't totally. And only in the 1980's did anyone say sorry.

I earned a California state scholarship back in 1970's. Under your criteria, does that mean since I am yellow or olive skinned that I would qualify for a Knights of Columbus scholarship?

Quit crying and get out there and apply for anything and everything you can instead of waiting for it to drop in your lap.

If you think that minorities get the same fair shake that we whites do, then you're just naive.
