I think Bill Richardson will win. He has the needed experience in energy and international diplomacy. He is a very popular governor. By all appearances he is a thoughtful, compassionate person who seeks consensus rather than trying to force his way.

I like Obama as well for some of the same reasons. He hasn't made his energy plans as clear as Richardson, and he hasn't had some of the experiences Richardson has had (such as with the hostage negotiations), but I think Obama would be a capable leader as well. I don't think race or gender will be much of a factor in this race. If Obama was a Rastifarian, maybe, but fortunately he's not.

Honestly I don't think America is going to elect a Black president. There is still too much hatred and prejudice in America. The fact that people would rather vote for a lying flip flopping Hillary proves the point. I am surprised he is even a front runner.
To answer your question, I would love to see Biden get the nomination. I don't know why he isn't a front runner. He is intelligent, speaks with authority and has the experience. At best he should be a close third.
Is there something I am missing about him?
I will stick with my party and vote for a Democrat. I just pray it is not Hillary.

Probably Gulianni because I think America is still going to continue the conservative trend that we'll probably be in until the end of the war on terror but while people see him as stronger on security than Hillary, he's semi-moderate on abortion and gay marriage. The undecided moderates are all that matter in elections today and Hillary can't capture those votes with her reputation, much of which is manufactured sexism from the right wing.
I'm sorry but there's no way she can use the gender card for political advantage in an election because possibly the #1 decider of all elections is the south, who are more prone to be last in the entire US to adapt to new social trends such as gender equality.

Hillary. for many reasons.
#1 All this negative press about her is only making her stronger.
#2 America is tired of the Republicans and none of those running have strong anchors in their own party
#3 A woman would be a huge change and i think America is more than ready to try something else after the failed last 7 years.
#4 Of all the candidates she is the one with the most experience, the biggest versatility when it comes to politics and political parties and especially she has Bill alongside and was already in the White house. plus plus plus!
#5 and finally she is the only one with a strong stance in every major issues. All the other candidate have their strong point and soft ones she doesn't seem to have any she is overall good at everything.
I am not particularly found of her or her policy but i think she is by far the best candidate today.

Rudy - it will be Rudy v. Hillary in November. Hillary is unelectable since she is too polarizing. Too many people really hate her! The rest of the crowd don't have a chance (especially Richardson, Kusinish, Gravel, Dodd, Edwards, Paul, etc...)

I think we are ready for a woman or a black president - just not any of the ones currently running. We will never be ready for an inexperienced socialist president - we have two of those running.

I would vote for Condi Rice or Colin Powell. Hillary or Obama, not a chance!

If Condaleeza Rice were to run, I'd vote for her in a second. And that would answer both the woman and the black president.

But not Hillary or Barack!

Vote for Rudy!

Whoever wins the most electoral votes. I believe he will win because that's the way it's always been.
