9-16 in normal. Anything younger or older than that is abnormal

Key ages when girls get their period are 12, 13, and 14. But you can get your period anywhere from 9-16. 16 is ussually pretty rare, but not abnormal.
ETA: If you're wondering when you'll start, ask your mother when she started, and it'll give you a good range of when you'll prolly start.

like everybody else said, 9-16. But when your mother starts doesn't always matter. I was 13 yrs. old (2 wks after by b-day) and my mom was 11 so..... I know people tell you this, but don't ever want your period to start, such an inconvenience!

have u got any other signs of puberty? your period could come any age from 10 onwards. try not to worry until you are over 16 as DRs won't do any investigations until you are at least this age

Anywhere from around 8 - 18 should be okay... That's when it will definitely happen, or something is extremely wrong. Call your doc if you don't have it by around 16... and tell your mom. Also tell her if you get it and you're under 10, she can help. Tell your mom either way, because she should know... It's usually about a year after your breasts start growing though.

i got mine when i was 10, two days before my 11th birthday. but puberty starts when your anywhere from as early as 8 to 14. hope this helps = ]

i got mine when i was 13 on excatly the same day my sister got hers but 2 years later everyone is differen ask your mum or your sister ( if you have one) when they got theirs but i wouldnt worry about it it will come
