He doesn't read from cue cards, his answers are diligent and he has solutions ready to keep us from demise. How come no one seems to see the wholehearted honesty, intelligence and caring he has to offer us?

WOW! That must be some kind of record for the most answers in so little time. It's a good sign that we all care.
I can see where a lot of you are coming from with the "inexperienced" view, but did you know Obama delivered the keynote address at the 2004 Democratic National Convention while still an Illinois state legislator? He went on to win election to the U.S. Senate in November 2004 with a landslide 70% of the vote. As a member of the Democratic minority in the 109th Congress, Obama co-sponsored the enactment of conventional weapons control and transparency legislation, and made official trips to Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In the 110th Congress, he has sponsored legislation on lobbying and electoral fraud, climate change, and care for returned U.S. military personnel. Plus he's a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School! Obama worked as a community organizer, university lecturer, and civil rights lawyer. I don't see how any of that is bad.

Recognition and Honors-
An October 2005 article in the British journal New Statesman listed Obama as one of "10 people who could change the world." In 2005 and again in 2007, Time magazine named him one of "the world's most influential people." During his first three years in the U.S. Senate, Obama received Honorary Doctorates of Law from Knox College (2005), University of Massachusetts Boston (2006), Northwestern University (2006), Xavier University of Louisiana (2006), Southern New Hampshire University (2007), and Howard University (2007).

Boy, your question sure brought out all the neo-cons in their usual form. But don't let them fool you, a large percentage of them are just bigots hiding behind their so called stand on issues. Obama would make a great President. This country definately needs to go in a different direction. You forgot diplomatic. That's one of his best assets.

Being a good and sincere speaker is nice. But, there's the no experience problem, he is merely a first term senator. This really showed a few months when he suggested we should go to war against Pakistan. Seriously, this is the kind of inexperience that has got us into problems in Iraq. And he thinks that spending a few childhood years overseas counts as 'experience with foreign policy'. How about electing someone who will solve problems with diplomacy and not getting us in unnecessary wars?

Yes he is diplomatic and may be able to help congress work out things between the parties,(maybe) but I think we need someone who can understand our economic future that is at stake.
We don't need someone to help shake hands with China, WE need someone who can say no to China! No more bad trading!

What solutions? All I hear is more empty words about some mythic "vision" for America. Caring? Why do we need a soft heart in the White House when we are still going to be fighting the same threats in '09 as we are now? We need a fighter. Excuse me, a QUALIFIED fighter. Unfortunately, I don't see any on either side. But especially not him. Hell, he's already written his memoirs. What does he have to write about? His time in a muslim school? Where you see intelligence, I see another ventriloquist act from LibDem Productions.

He's intelligent, But his plan to increase the ceiling on Social Security taxes is going to unfairly nail the self employed in taxes. I've never heard him address this aspect of it, so I have to assume he could care less about entrepreneurs.
If anything, that will hit businesses very hard, and guess which ones will tend to survive? (Hint: it will not be the small ones). It's another example of how a Great sounding idea has such dire consequences, but the media will do nothing to point that out.
Remember the luxury tax on Yachts? Sounded great! The rich pay! Put thousands of boat builders out of work.
What frightens me are the people who thumbs down. Absolutely no regard for people who make our country successful. Individuals start their own company, work their tail off, and the Left in this country simply wants them to pony up. They could care less that I created 6 jobs from scratch. Maybe after Obama nails me, I'll have to lay one off so the Left can claim how awful Republicans are. Unbelievable. All you want is a free ride with no regard to who pays for it all. Ever listen to Liberal politicians? It's all what they are planning to give YOU, and they could care less about those who work for it. I guarantee that if you ever start to do well and see how our government treats you, you'll understand the anger. It's impossible to succeed because of TAXES. Not the economy! TAXES keep us from getting ahead. PERIOD.

For your information Ducky Obama is no boy. That is insulting. He is a grown man in his 50s.
I like him but I like Biden better. I do think he would make a fine president as well as Edwards and Richardson.

Having a good memory and being swift on answer doesn't make you a good president. As opposed to you i do not see the honesty in him mostly i see someone telling me what i want to hear in order to get my vote. Sorry, i don't buy into the charisma when i vote for my next president. He needs a lot more than that to convince me.

I agree, I like Obama, lets get someone in there that is intelligent, honest and moral. Wow, that's not easy to find here in the US. Seems like inexperience at politicking is a good thing. We don't need another family dynasty ruining our country.
