There's nothing wrong with wanting to put yourself first now and then. It is a matter of self-care, rather than self-centeredness, and is related to your self-esteem, if that is what you are truly looking for.

1. Take some time each day to do something just for you. Make it something that you really want to do and brings you joy.

2. Believe that you are truly worth it! You deserve to take care of yourself and achieve your dreams.

3. Remember a time when you really loved yourself, and practice that self-love daily, with daily affirmations.

Remember, we can not really love others unless we first love ourselves.

I hope this helps.

You seem like a pretty selfless person, and that's a good thing. But if you want to pay a little more attention to yourself, look at yourself in hte mirror at least 3 times a day, and fix your hair, or whatever you see thats wrong with your look, at least once I guess. I don't know how to be self-centeterd. I guess you have to be egomaniacal/concetited and spoiled. Be who you are. Most people like you how you are before you want to change.

You have been pretty self-centered today, so you're off to a good start. How about making your friends cook for you everyday and never returning the favor AND calling them old!

No, I'm kidding. You are a sweet, considerate guy and you should stay that way!

I am NOT an expert, but you should center yourself on what is the most important to you...have dreams, there is nothing wrong with that...set goals for yourself...everynite I write down what I want to do tomorrow, and the next day I try to do them...but don't overwhelm yourself...start out with one or two things..and go on from there..

Stand in the middle of rooms.

If it is an oddly shaped room, you may need to do some calculations (be sure to carry a tape measuere and calculator wherever you go).

Also, check yourself out in the sunglasses of the people who are talking to you (and make it obvious).

ask yourself "what do I want?" and then go do it. don't let people walk over you. if they ask you to do something you don't want to do, say no. don't try to be a people-pleaser. think of someone you know that is really self-centered and get some ideas from them.

You probably already exceed the norm. So be happy with the self-centered level you already have.

way to go friend... finally coming around...

people became so demanding it's time you took care of numero uno!

Look in the mirror every 5 minutes and say 'what have you done for me lately'

EDIT: LOL.... ouch! well, I think you're well on your way, punk

Why would you want to be more self-centered ?
it's very unattractive, and really annoying.

stand in front of your mirror, while striking magnificent poses and taking pictures of yourself.
