No, but thanks for trying to spin political advantage out of an ongoing hostage situation.

I again find it most telling, as with the wild fires in San Diego last month how Republicans will take tragedy, and rather than show sympathy for the victims, try to spin it to their own advantage. Think abck a month ago when all those wildfire stories were on the news and all I heard from Republicans:

Dems are saying al Qaida is starting the fires;
There are fires, death, destruction and chaos, should we abandon San Diego as the Left would have us abandon Iraq?:
and so on. No empathy, and certainly no SYMPATHY for the people involved.

I'm truly ashamed I ever called myself a Republican. You and this question embody everything evil about the party.

So should we all assume that the Cons are to blame for this? I know they aren't, but Cons blamed liberals for the California fires as well as the VA shootings. So I'm going going to be ignorant too!
