Snoopy, when I was that age was too busy playing with dolls && watching cartoons to even BEGIN thinking about marriage, sex, && relationships, which is EXACTLY the reason I asked this question. I just want to know why these kids are thinking about these things && even giving advice on them at such a young age. I did not put anyone down, I simply asked a question, I wanted to know everyones opinion, which is why I ASKED the younger kids to answer as well, to give them a chance to explain....

kids these days,, R raising themselves there for they are experiancing things that they should not, and are knowing about things that they are not suppose to know about,, Parents are allowing children to be to darn grown up,,, there fore they are having sex,, having starter relationships,, so by the time they are 20 and should be inexperianced,,, they are more like 30,,,, with way more then they need to handle and know about,,, I feel that children should stay in childrens places,,, this is what i order in my house hold..

My sister is going to be 14 on Friday, and she thinks she knows everything about everything. See when I was her age, my parents wouldn't let me date or anything of that nature, now a days though, kids and young teens are dating and having sex. There was this girl from Wisconsin who was only 9 years old and she was pregnant. They see it on tv and/or are watching what thier parents are doing. I'm not saying all parents are like that, so please don't take it that way. But children see what's going on and they pick up the habbits. So they think they can do it. Down in Missouri, a friend of mine got married at the age of 13 cause she thought she was in love. I hope this helps out your question a little bit.

They think they know what they are talking about. Some kids think that and want to help people that are having relationship problems. So that isn't too bad if they are just wanting to give their opinion. But if the question is about having sex or something along that line, they shouldn't know enough for that. Of course with how society is today, many kids that age know more about that stuff then some adults do. It's kind of weird.

I'm not sure but when young people " fall in and out of love"they feel hurt when "they are dumped".It may not be real love but emotionally it still hurts their feelings.I guess when this happens to them they feel they know a little about life but sadly they haven't even got their toe in the water.I'm not trying to minimize their emotions but they lack the experience that only time can give us.( at least I would hope they lack the experience).Maybe I am old fashioned.

I;m 13 years old but i don't give that kind of advice. i think they're doing that because they want to fit in with the older or more mature group so they would look so immature and young. they know this because of their own relationship or health class. people probably told them too

I understand where you're coming from...
But just because they're young doesn't mean they have nothing important to say on the topic... even people who are more 'of age' for those subjects give 'wrong' advice or aren't very well informed themselves anyway...
Don't get hung up on age.

Unless you are a clone, you were a kid once... try to think back on the perspective that you had. At that age it is hard to realize that there are things you "don't know."
Why not participate positively in these forums instead of putting kids down?

I'm 14.
For like sex-related topics, I'm in health class right now and we finished the sex unit awhile ago.
Sadly, I actually DO know the answers to "OMG. HE PULLED OUT, THOUGH. HOW COULD I HAVE GOTTEN PREGNANT!?"
(( a lot of pregnancy questions are easy to answer. Go take a test, duh. ))
Marriage&relationships...
I'm not good with.
EDIT: Love the fact I was thumbed down.

What's scarier is who they're giving advice TO!
(The less experienced 6, 7, and 8 year olds!)

I agree that they just think they do. Maybe that's why when I want relationship advice I don't come to Y/A.
