The one and only drawback with the BNP at the moment is their leadership.
If a change was made at the top (boot out griffin and cohorts), then the uk would see a massive swelling of the ranks of the BNP.
If you forget for one moment who leads them, and take the time to read their policies, they make great sense.
So take away the one target that all the liberal do gooders love to rant about (Griffin), and you will find that the BNP are every bit an alternative to any other party and probably far better.
Griffin out, BNP in and lets put a stop to this uncontrolled immigration and rape of the UK benefits system.

Who are these true Britons/British that the BNP claim to be supporting? If they ever came out with a clear and concise policy, instead of the waffle David Irving has been spouting for the last 30 years, then it might be possible to say whether they were "really that wrong". Somebody from the BNP comes up with a genuine idea, thought or policy, then I will consider it. Instead they come up with some half-baked ideas with no economic, scientific and in most cases, inaccurate bit of inflammatory twaddle, depending on what the "Sun" or other comics tell them is the "mood of the people".

The problem is, we don't know for sure, because the 'left' won't allow us to listen to them. On the face of it, some of their policies seem laudable, but the problem is, for most of us, they may go too far in applying some of them.
Why can't the Liberal/Left allow the British people to make their own minds up about the BNP without them trying to do it for us. I think that the real reason that the 'Left' vilify the BNP and deny them a platform, is that they are afraid that they will strike a chord with the many frustrated people in this country.
Lets face it, the BNP are a bona fide legitimate party, and have a right to be heard. Throwing the 'racist word around doesn't cut it with intelligent people, and simply exposes the 'Left' as enemies of free speech and intolerant self righteous fascists.

When times are tuff and minorities get the blame for all the problems in the country, its easy for the far right get support.
Think back to after the end of the first world war, Germany was suffering and as a result the Nazi party gained support.
Another problem in the UK is that there is little or no difference between the two main parties.
The BNP is classified as a dirty word by the far left, however these people seem to forget that with out the full spectrum of political opinion freedom truly does not exist.
Ja.

The BNP may claim otherwise on their website and official papers but they are a white supremacy party who want to kick out everyone who is not white and of 100% pure British descent. You will find that out if you are ever unlucky enough to speak to any of them-as I was last year.
They deny the holocaust happened. They call HIV a 'friendly illness because it kills blacks, drug users and gays'.See what I mean?
So yes they are that wrong-they are Nazi's.

the BNP are led by very clever ego-driven people who know how to manipulate the emotions of people who are not clever or properly educated. They make any issue based claims and propose laws to get votes but behind it all is a more sinister and dangerous agenda, which is only revealed to the innermost cadres. Fortunately despite small gains at local level from protest voting patterns, they consistently fail to gain national votes as national election voters are generally more educated and see them as an ineffectual party. They will probably never get as far as they did in 1975 again..so it is more expedient to British politics for them to be ignored at manifesto level and used more as a gauge for local pockets of dissatisfaction. They gain more local votes in Conservative led councils, which I find very interesting. There are some great books on voting patterns in which the NF/BNP performance can be more accurately reviewed. Nick Griffin isn't even English..he's Dutch!

I think the fact more and more people are looking at them as an alternative is frightening and a fact the mainstream parties need to face up to.

The acceptable face of the BNP surely preaches to peoples sensibilities. Its the unacceptable face of it which bothers me so much. What we are not told about is that some of their members allegedly encourage violence towards people of ethnic minorities, actively plot against them in jobs to get them fired, persecute their children and so on. The Nazi regime was, on the surface, a very attractive proposition to many - until they found out that little children were being skinned alive in front of their parents so that some soldier could have a jewish skin lampshade! I will always look after my own family first, then my people - and I don't care what colour they are as long as they are in my country, giving to the community. It is my right to accept the mix of cultures and I would also accept everyone's rights to speak out against it. What I will not tolerate is people preaching violence.

Only an ignorant fool would vote for other ignorant fools who know only primitive hatred of anyone slightly different from them.
