In the old days, so the only people that would be looking down on you would be the older generation.

Many people do not look down on others but still think that peple should be married before getting pregnant.
Personally, I do not look down on anyone (I think you know that) but my opinion is that it is right to wait until marriage before getting pregnant. However if a woman (no matter what age) gets pregnant outside of marrigg, I do not believe she should marry someone she does not love just to be married.

It is true that some people look down on premarital pregnancies. Although it depends on what society and class you are talking about a bit these days.
For the middle class in the US it is still looked down on some. It has become more common it is still considered rather declasse. This has been changing slowly. But, older people (parents and grandparents) still feel strongly about it.

Not so much anymore. However, I think there are certain conditions to that.
If you've been dating someone for a while and get pregnant, it's more expected.
If you don't have a serious relationship and get pregnant w/ a random person/ non-serious boyfriend; it's looked down on.
If you are really young under 25, it might be deemed negatively.
If your in a great long-term relationship, but have serious financial problems; it might be looked down on.
It all depends on the specific situation.

A lot of people do...but who cares what they think. Some people aren't ready to be married, yet they don't want to give up the child they are carrying. It's really no body else's business...but yes, people will judge you, you just have to learn to not care what they think and do what is right for you.

Depends on where you live. What your religion is. It's generally more accepted these days for women to have children out of wedlock. However, it's always better to be married for the children's sake. Usually un-wed couples have difficulty working out visitation and custody.

Yes, some do but it's really none of their business and they are the type of people that have nothing better to do then to meddle in your life. It's really not that big a deal anymore but there are still a lot of OLD fashion people left in the world.

No not really, I guess it would turn heads if you are too young still in school etc society would look down on that given the rough road ahead of you and your child.

Of course not girl! I used to have a problem with my friends living with their boyfriends without getting married. But now I see them being just as committed if not more so. So no problems from me!

I don't know why people still do that it's not as if they will support your baby when it's born. Marriage doesn't save you from anything:
your husband can still just up and leave(like a boyfriend could possibly do)
bring home AIDS or any other STD(like a boyfriend could possibly do)
be a deadbeat who doesn't provide for you or your child (like a boyfriend could possibly do)
