Can it make a person appear simple?

yes a person with ADD can be intelligent , the disease doesn't "block" their intelligence it just makes it harder for them to verbalise it sometimes or show it.
yes they can appear simple.

I think "block" is the wrong word... nothing actually happens to the person's intelligence. Superficially, it might appear to have an effect. But give a person an intelligence test that has been calibrated correctly for ADHD test takers, and they'll be fine. Or put them in a real world situation with the proper support, and they'll do okay.

a person with ADHD can be intelligent yes, but may not focus on one subject too long as there attention span is low. it dont thing it makes a person appear simple, however

ADHD doesn't have anything to do with the person's intelligence.
The problem is self control, behaviors that make it hard for them to be socially successful and successful in school.

Yes... their mind is bouncing around so much that they get a blank stare on their faces sometimes (with some people).


It doesn't block the intelligence.. they just appear vacant sometimes.
