The bathroom is out in the shop which is not heated so if it's 30 degrees outside, it's about 33 degrees in the shop and maybe 35 in the bathroom. The cold weather really cuts into my "me time" every morning and that forces me to spend more time here in the office attempting to appear diligently at work. Am I being unreasonable here?

You should also demand that he provide reading materials too. You have the right to be entertained whilst you go about your business in there.

Simply tell your employer that if it stays at or below freezing, the pipes will freeze and break. So it is in his best interests to place some heat in the bathroom
Besides, we all know you are not working when you are not in the bathroom. You are on Y!A with the rest of us.

If the people who work in the shop aren't complaining, you shouldn't complain about the bathroom. Cuz your employer should heat the shop before he heats the bathroom.

Not being unreasonable at all. They should supply a heater in the restroom. Of anything I would go purchase one if they refused...just one of those small ones, but don't give in too early. Ask and they just might.

If he doesn't, then you should get a pair of those long underwear that are all 1 piece. They have a trap back door. Then you will still stay warm, and your bare a s s would never even have to touch the seat!

no, you shouldn't be spending that much time in there anyways. i would be complaining more about the temperature of the shop. i seems to me that less work would be getting done if it's that cold in there. it would be more beneficial to everyone if they heated the shop, i would think. how about you?

Your boss should put a heater in the pottie.
suppose it gets in the teens and you get stuck to the toilet seat????
