we are in a down time right now so I can work if I want or stay at home until January when we get really busy. my boss has been a jerk for years and we will see how his company runs next year without me as his field supervisor

you're bad, but i like your style. well you can go, show your face, mingle with a few key people, eat something and say it made you ill and leave.

How can you quit your job and not tell your boss? Isn't it just considered not showing up and being a irresponsible when you don't go in but don't tell anyone you quit? I'm really wondering about that, I've never heard of someone quitting their job but not telling their boss.

I feel you... I want my bonus too, and I cant think of an excuse.
Besides, its in the French Quarter with waaay too much booze and I know something will go down. It always does with us drunks.
I think I'll hide out in the Hustler Club

I go because it`s my party, and leaving a job like that won`t get you a good reference.

I try to go every year- we just go out and eat and exchange secret gifts. Always very nice.
