ok, well, i'm 13 years old and i'm cofused. One of my friends says that i should wear underwire bra's, another says i should just wear them for sport, another says i should stick with padded non-wired another says i should were the sort of bra's you get at places like la senza and another says i should stick with the thin training bra's. My mum says i should stick with just padded. I dunno what to do! I wear a 34aa but my boobs jump around in size! Sometimes their too small for my bra and sometimes i get double boobs!

I haven't started my period but have had discharge for about,, 3-4 months probably longer. Can anyone tell me what to do!? I have no idea what bra to wear! Also, one of my friends says i should wear thongs, but i'd rather stick with girl boxers and bikini's

your best bet is to just do what you are comfortable with...since you are so small (no offense... i was that size at your age) your best bet is to wear the training bras or the ones with just a little padding....why wear an uncomfortable one when you dont have to? or if you prefer you could just wear sports bras..try on different kinds and decide which you feel most comfortable in...as for your period..it could be starting or it could be a long time away..there really isnt a fool proof way to tell sorry...and if you'd rather stick to girl boxers and bikini's do that because its your choice...no one has to see them anyway so why would it matter? happy teenage years!

You don't have to wear an underwire bra. Technically at a 34aa you don't have to wear a bra at all unless you have unusually prominent nipples, since it's not like you need the support. But the underwire or lack thereof will not have any effect on what happens to your breasts. Personally I do wear them, but that is because they are actually comfier for me since I am busty.

Try on any bra before you buy it. It should cling to your ribcage snugly but not be digging in to you. Look at the back where the hooks are... is it riding up? Then you have the straps too tight or too small of a size. The cup should be responsible for most of your uplift. Move around in it, raise your hands. Are you oozing out of the top or has it ridden up so that the bottom part is not below your breast? Get a different bra or a different size.

For day to day wear, you should probably have basic bras in three colors, black, fleshtoned, and white. Then you can wear whatever shirt you please and people won't be able to see your bra. Apart from that, buy whatever you think is cute and is comfortable for you to wear.

As far as the underwear thing goes, it is deeply, deeply creepy when thirteen year old girls wear thongs. It's sexualising you way too young. So please, just wear something that covers your butt, if only to not make me feel (at age 28) like the old woman of the hills preaching about how society is collapsing. If you are worried about discharge, you can always buy pantiliners in the sanitary napkin area of the grocery store. These are basically thin pads that you can use so you don't get discharge on your panties.

I agree with your mother.
Sports bras are good, for when you'll be very active, like working out, but with your size it's not such a huge deal.
Once you have boobs, any size, you should stop waering your training bra. They are made to get you in the habit (or train) you to waer a bra, not to support the ones you already have.
You also don't really need an underwire bra, yet. The wire makes the bra less comfortable, but when you grow, you will need one of these for good suport, (and nice shape!).
Now, the padded with give you a fuller look and suport, and will be quite comfortable, even for long periods of time.
When you go bra shopping you should get a size check, just ask one of the assistants. As awkward as this is, it's even more awkward to wear a bra that's too small/big.

You probably don't need underwire given that your chest is not very big yet. Also, I like bras with a little padding because your nipples won't show if it is cold out. Bras vary in how they fit, so you should get yourself measured to find out what size you need to wear. You can do this right in a department store. Don't worry, they just put the measuring tape over your clothes, so it is not a big deal or anything. Then try on a whole bunch of different brands and styles until you find something comfortable.

Don't feel pressured to wear thong underwear. Wear what is comfortable (so stick to your bikinis)!

I think your right about your panties. As for your bra, as you've discovered the choices are nearly endless, the best advise is to wear the style that YOU are most comfortable with. Everybody has their own opinion, but YOU are the one that has to wear it. So, if your fine with a sports bra, and it's comfortable than just wear a sports bra.

Also, the bra you choose needs to fit properly. It's not your boobs, it's the bra. Just because they may all say 34aa doesn't mean that they will all fit the same. For some bras a 34A might fit you better, in another style you might take a 32A or 32B. It depends on how the bra is made.

Wear what's comfortable, try on all kinds of bras and make sure that it doesn't leave lines when you wear a shirt. Who cares what other people think you should wear, you have to wear it, right? Different bra makers seem to make the cup size different so always try on the bra before you buy. If you don't want to wear a thong than don't. Just watch out for pantie lines with your pants and skirts, that's the only reason I wear thongs, but only when you can see the lines. Don't wear what others say you should wear, where what you really want to wear. Your period will come when it comes, talk to your doctor if it bothers you, some discharge is normal, but it could be a yeast infection so ask you mom if she'll make an appointment for you. And just remember Hun, if you conform to want others want than you'll be unhappy and spend too much of your adult life trying to figure out who you really are. Good luck and I hope I helped a little.

I think you should wear whatever bra feels most comfortable. The padding one with no wire sounds good and a sports bra for just sports. Wearing a wired bra for sports isn't good for you boobs and can cause discomfort. Once you get larger try underwire and see how you feel. Try getting a bigger size and see if its more comfortable!

That's totally normal, i was the same way. I think its a sign that its coming soon so be ready!
When my friends starting wearing them I thought I had to too. But after a week they became annoying and i just went back to my normal underwear. You can get just as pretty girl boxer shorts and bikin as thongs! Plus they are much more comfortable.

When I was around your size, I wore a regular padded bra. You don't really need the support of an underwire, and sometimes training bras "show through". Maybe also try a sports bra.

Wear girl boxers and bikinis. Much more comfortable, and appropriate for a 13 year old.

Good Gawd! At your age i wish i had some boobs to put in a bra. J/K. I never wore a training bra. I jumped right into a 34 A. If im not mistaken that is a tiny size. If i were you i would wear a normal bra, perhaps with a thin padding to prevent my nipples from printing. but padded to increase size? No. and definitely not lingerie from la senza. Thongs? No. Do what you feel is comfortable. Your boobs probably "jump around" in size because they swell or bloating. Im not sure tho. But hey in everything you do, do it for your comfort. Because its you who has with the discomfort.

Honey, we come in different sizes and shapes. Stick with what is comfortable for you. Get measured properly to be sure that you're wearing the right size. As you grow, you'll probably need to try different kinds of bras. It sounds like you may need to have a couple different sizes on hand. For sports, use a sports bra that compresses your breasts.

Why *should* you wear thongs? They're not healthy, so stick to what is comfortable and save thongs for when you don't want panty lines. Most days, you probably wear clothes that don't show panty lines, and frankly, on most days, who cares? When you get dressed up, then you can either wear thongs or just smooth your panty lines with pantyhose.
