Freedom For All brings up a good point. If you 18 and not a liberal you have not heart, if your 40 and not a conservitive you have no brain. - Winston Churchill said that I believe.

In reference to Hubert, I never stated my personal opinion I just asked a question, thanks though. Makes you wonder if liberals see things that aren't really there as well?

What an insulting question. Liberalism is not a mental disorder and you have no evidence to back up your opinion anyway. Amazing how much hate can be spewed over name calling by 13 year old trolls.
You should be reported for insulting others but I won't do it because I want people to see how really ridiculous questions can be.
Famous liberals, by the way, include all of the founding fathers, Abe Lincoln and countless others who would hardly be considered as diseased or lazy.

I do not agree.
I think it shows that Weiner is incapable of rational thought.
It is a way to disparage others thoughts and beliefs without having to actually think or reason yourself.
EDIT:
"If you're not a liberal when you're 25, you have no heart. If you're not a conservative by the time you're 35, you have no brain." There is no record of anyone hearing Churchill say this. Paul Addison of Edinburgh University makes this comment: "Surely Churchill can't have used the words attributed to him. He'd been a Conservative at 15 and a Liberal at 35! And would he have talked so disrespectfully of Clemmie, who is generally thought to have been a lifelong Liberal?"
There is no basis for attributing this to Churchill. It is childish to continue to do so.

The CIA used ridicule as a tool to sway opinion to discredit our own military pilots, that's what the above statement implies to me. There is absolutely no basis in fact to back up the statement so ridicule is used to make "liberals" seem a little less bright then the average person...read as conservative. You know how fantasy never seems to match-up with reality, it's the same thing with liberals have mental problems, the fantasy is all that matters to republicans, not the reality. It's just another bumper-sticker slogan from the GOP, it makes them feel better, superior to the lowly, crazy liberals.

I think its an amazing uneducated, yet disturbingly popluar American view. Unfortunately the two (being "Uneducated" and "American") are drawing closer and closer together. I find it astounding that those who typically attend a university come out more liberal than when they went in. I also find it astounding that most countries find us particularly distasteful, creud and all around ignorant.... but most Americans' refuse to believe them or simply make up excuses as to why we are better than them. Which really isn't the case anymore.
Seriously... a mental disorder???
How about "Conservativism is a MORAL disorder"??

It is a very inflammatory way of saying a legitimate thing.
Many people find the thought process of liberals to be "alternative," to put it nicely.
That is, when presented by facts and academic studies that objectively show that they are wrong they then appeal to metaphysical things like "non-economic value" to avoid proper analysis of their opinions.
When confronted with things like Islamic fascism, liberals will take the insane position of allying themselves with the fascists under the guise of multiculturalism rather than be seen as agreeing with American conservatives. Does it make sense to ally yourself with the people who would have you stoned in the public square? I don't think so. Yet this is the case.

"Liberalism is a mental disorder."
At least that signifies that liberals have a brain to begin with. That puts them ahead of Repubs all the way around.

This is a quote from Michael (Savage) Alan Weiner, the conservative talk show host from San Francisco.
If you have ever listeed to his show, you know that he is a loose cannon who has said many irresponsible things.
This is one of his rants.
No, I don't believe it any more than I believe that conservatism is a mental disorder.

No.
It's a sound bite designed to grab attention.
Liberalism is at it's core, intellectual laziness. It's about putting emotions ahead of logic and facts.
Yes, I fully realize I'll get tons of thumbs downs. This is only my opinion based on what I've witnessed all my life.

I disagree. I think it is a maturity disorder. I was liberal as a child, then I grew up into a mature adult. I think most people follow this pattern (based purely on personal experience).
