A LETTER TO YOU
I sat down today to write a letter to you
A letter didn’t quite know how to do
Halfway through it began to get hard
It almost sounded like a dumb greeting card.
Word after word seemed to just ramble on
Kind of like the words in a sad country son.
I wanted to tell you my hopes and my dreams
Instead, I talked about the weather and things.
My penmanship got worse line after line
So I took a break thinking all would be fine.
When I tried it again I still couldn’t seem to write
I went through so many pieces of paper tonight.
I finally gave up when the trash can was filled
To say the least, I was much less than thrilled.
There were so many things you really needed to know,
Like how as each day passes my love only grows.
I wanted to tell you how much I do care
And how I can’t imagine life without you there.
And at the end of the letter when I was through
I would sign it so sweetly with, “Baby, I love you!”

no longer one that replaced into any good. My modern BF of two+ years has written 3 poetry books (some years in the past) and not as quickly as written me a poem. yet A BF from severe college wrote me a song that replaced into fairly good, called Diamond Eyes. He achieved it stay at camp that summer time.

although it needs polishing the basics are there. keep working you might find a gem when you finish.
