I was there a few months ago. The City Grill is great and also across the street there is a grill/bar that plays live jazz music(sorry but i forget the name) but honestly, just do what my wife and I did. We parked and just walked around. there were so many great choices it kinda hard to pick a bad one.

Located in the "Old" part of Las Olas Boulevard. Big City Tavern is a busy, vibrant restaurant reminiscent of the great urban taverns of Chicago, New York and Boston.

The food is robust and American with Asian and Mediterranean influences. The menu also offers an array of traditional thin crust pizzas. The setting is that of a relaxed atmosphere with a diverse menu and casual dining outdoors and in.

First of all, I would avoid chain places like Cheesecake Factory, etc. Why would you travel all the way here to get overrated food like that?

If you're looking for upscale, go with Johnny V. It's celebrated chef makes this location a favorite among locals and visitors.

My personal favorite is Cafe Las Olas. Look for the sign, it's on the Nort side of the road. It's located in a small alley, and features some of the most well thought-out and delicious dishes you could have.

Shizen has teriffic sushi, and has those private areas where you take your shoes off. Fun for a group of friends!

I also like Cafe Blue. It's a Mediterranean restaurant with great sandwiches, pastas, and Greek dishes. Enjoy a glass of wine in a casual atmosphere.
