Long Island Ice Tea Anybody? What is That? I keep hearing about it. What's in it?

I lived on Long Island for 60 years, and we made iced tea just the way everyone else does. I think it`s just another sales pitch.

Long Island Ice Tea
1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz gin
1/2 oz white rum
1/2 oz Cointreau
1 oz lemon juice
Top with Cola....mix and enjoy!

there are many different kinds jamacians long islands are my fav i could drink them all day most bars cut you off after 3 of them though which sucks cause then i have to leave and go to another bar and start over
