Mine was a Woods W92. I remember when people would ask me what brand it was and I would tell them "Woods", 95% of the time they'd say "Well I figured it was made of wood...but what brand?" or something of that nature, lol. To be so cheap, it was a good little guitar: http://www.mattlawsonphoto.com/JK_Thumbnails/I.WOODS.W92.jpg

It was a Hondo, Les Paul style knockoff. The color was a seventies looking yellow, you know that funky shade that is somewhere between mustard and earwax? My dad had run across it and I started trying to play. It was a cheap guitar, but it served me well. I still have it, and I have tweaked things on it a bit, so it plays a lot better now.

I had 2 1sts: one was a little (I was around 7 or 8) no-name, acoustic. Was black on the edges & faded into a deep brick red to the sound hole.

The other was a small sized bass (cannot remember the name now) w/ white scratch plate. Looked like a mini Fender jazz. I have a photo of both. :)

edit* lol~ The bass was a Kimberly! Just looked at the pic. :)

Haha...wow...this question takes me back!!

My first guitar(about 10 years ago) was this Tara guitar. I didn't know much about it, all I knew was that I wanted to start playing the guitar to look cool(lol). I think my parents payed about $100 for it. It was a great starter guitar, but I remember that my guitar teacher had problems tuning it lol.

My first electric guitar(about 4 years ago) was a Squire Strat.
Now my acoustic is upgraded to a Yamaha and my electric to an actual Fender Strat.

Circa 1950's Kalamazoo double f-hole, arched front and arched back, jazz acoustic guitar with a tobacco finish. It belonged to my Dad.

A Sears Silvertone. I hated the red finish so I painted it Fender white.

My first guitar was a Montgomery Wards special, and I have no clue what happened to it just like most of my childhood belongings, it was a good learning guitar.
