Hi. In a sleeping bag. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/14002908/ For the record there have been married couples in the same ship at the same time. Just for any prudes!
From the web: "In September 1992, two married astronauts flew aboard STS-47, a "Spacelab" science mission. Mark Lee and Jan Davis got married after being assigned to the crew. They were divorced several years later."

Ive seen photos of astronauts spinning each other on their fingertip like a basketball, so the man could probably arch is pelvis upward and the girl literally "spin" herself in circles on top of him... imagine what THAT would be like! But honestly I dont think they do anything because they monitor every inch of the shuttle/station 24/7 incase of any sort of emergency. The minute the suit came off theyd prolly be paged, lol.

Wouldn't it be wonderful, making love like minks in freefall? If any astronauts have tested this wonder, they aren't talking. But, my guess if a man and a woman spend weeks working together on the space station, bodily fluids will be exchanged.
Heck, maybe it is so wonderful that one lady astronaut might put on diapers and drive cross country to persuade her rival to leave hr astro-man alone.

Cirric hit this one on the head. Thanks for the link C.....
VERY VERY informative.
I wasn't aware about the formation of neural connections requiring gravity. that could be the WORST effect.
and its true. within 2 generations (maybe even 1) the children might be born looking a little bit different than we do.
at least softer smaller bones and legs that act more like arms (like going back into monkey form) and I'm sure following generations will evolve even quicker.
after many generations these new species might not even be able to use planets with gravity similar to earths.
of subject, I know, but still Cirrics got a great link.

I don't know if they have--it probably would require something like Velcro and bungee cords to accomplish this.
But, if it does happen, it would be publicized, and given some stupid NASA-speak name like "Detailed Test Objective (DTO #603-SEX-01)--or something stupid like that.
BTW, if NASA decides to sell the videos on the open market, the sales would more than pay for the cost of the mission. As the Old Saying Goes, Sex Sells!

Isn't that a rather personal question to be asking? Besides, we don't know that they even do. Astronauts in orbit are VERY busy people, who probably don't have time to think of such things.

It's never been confirmed that sex has occurred in space. Although I think rendezvous & docking would be easy - maintaining a hard-dock in zero-G would be a challenge....

my guess is it depends on if they are using some sort of gravity or not. if they are it would be just like having sex the way people do on Earth.

They don't? Maybe ???
But if they did, they'd have to be single, and not busy... which, the probability for that is low... but, it'd be interesting to know how and if it has happened.
