I am a Democrat and Clinton/Obama supporter.

I do not agree that we should be calling him a "republican" right off the bat...

Give it some time - he was probably nutty enough that he doesn't vote anyway.

If the situation were reversed, I would only hope that Republicans would have the tact to not use it as a platform so I hope Hillary maintains her dignity as well.

Do you really want us Democrats to have to claim all the "eco-terrorists" and liberal militias that have appeared over the years?

Perhaps we should be blamed for the Assasination attempt on Ronald Reagan?

Let's be reasonable. Crazy people should not get respect that the two biggest parties cannot afford them.

This is happening in my home town.

When I read the story I called my mom, just to be sure she is ok. She says the man's name hasn't been released yet, but that he has a history of mental problems, and apparently was so deluded he walked in and demanded to speak to Hillary Clinton, who is not even in the STATE, let alone the town.

NH is one of the reddest of the Red States, the State motto is "Live Free or Die" and there is no Sales tax, nor State Income tax. The only surprise I feel about this is that it hasn't haapened much sooner. EVERYBODY in NH walks around armed (but not with what looked to witnesses to be a homemade explosive device strapped to their chests).

Why would a Republican, even one who IS mentally unbalanced, embrace the tactics used by suicide bombers in Iraq? My mom, who is just slightly to the right of the John Birch Society, is predicting this will cause the Rochester Police Dept to ask for and receive MILLIONS in local property tax funds they neither need nor have any legitimate use for.

Jimmy Carter turn right into a undesirable president. He did a undesirable interest. no person concept that he turn into any solid, and as a result he wasn't re-elected. He botched the rescue of captives held by ability of Iran. Iran made a fool of him. our relationships with Iran are nevertheless tainted by ability of what Carter did collectively as he turn into President. the fee of gas went sky intense, and so did costs of interest. i don't hate Carter. i'm only disgusted together with his strikes the two as a President and a former-President. the only first rate component he does is build residences for the undesirable.

he did let the mother and child go, though. I suppose he would have taken more campaign workers hostage if there had been more there.

He's probably just showing Hillary how idiotic her stand on global terrorism is. He thinks he's performing a public service, both to her in particular and to all "liberal idiots" in general.

Of course the "neo-Con" swat team will probably assassinate him and his message will be lost. But he shall rise as a martyr to the conservative cause.

Since there has been nothing identifying the person as Republican, that is simply petty partisan conjecture on your part. For some reason, that doesn't shock me.

Why not call him a "freedom fighter"?

That's what you people call terrorists that blow up US troops, innocent Iraqis and innocent Israelis.
