Nirvana, the bands life was so sort yet accomplished so much. Per Jam is amazing also but their still around, their last cd sucked. Pearl jam seems to not care any more. I was ecstatic when I when to go see them and they were so laid back. They hadn't played in Hartford in years and when they finally did they sold out and were so chill. Nevada left the stage exhaust each and every time. So based on live performances Nirvana.

Both are amazing, but I'd have to say Nirvana because they had an effect on Pearl Jam itself.

Nirvana is a lot smoother. Pearl Jam is hard to spread. I really prefer Orange Marmalade on my sammiches!
