I don't think I've ever tried crumpets. Are they good? Are they just kind of like muffins?
Well, I guess I have to say muffins because I don't know what crumpets taste like.
Hey, do you live in England! That is soooo cool, if you do!
luv,
Annie

I never tried a crumpet, I will try anything once. Knowing me and the description that ppl are giving I would like them... Love muffins too if they are home made.

If I was in England - the answer would be crumpets because in the USA they do not know how to make them!

Crumpets every time, yum.
BTW, I think that this is a peculiarly English thing.
US muffins are more like small cakes, proper English muffins are flat.

Crumpets. Good ol' fashioned, winter comfort food, toasted over an open fire and served with lashings of butter, slowly melting... mmm... Muffins don't stand a chance against that!
