I have a '91 Eagle Talon and I went out this morning to warm the car up and I turned on the fan, and it worked but the belts always squeals so i turned it off, not to wake up the neighbors. 5 minutes later I went back in and turned the fan on again and no air was coming out.

Anyone know what could have happened and what I can do to fix it?

The first thing would be the fuse and then the blower switch itself. My money is on the switch. They're cheap. When the belts squeal. it neans they're slipping on the alternator and are probably glazed and need to be changed and tightened correctly.

the belts could squeal because either overtensioned or undertensioned

did the fan turn on????
it could be that your heater core is clogged
it could be a blown fan fuse or a relay
it could be that the heater valve does not open
