i have a lump inside my vagina, it's not swolen or painful
but i think its blocking my periods. im 13 and i havn't started. i went to the hospital because i kept getting adom pains. i had a ultrsound and she said looking at it she would think i'd be having my periods by now. is this lump normal?

I have seen questions like this before...and people were saying it's cysts and stuff. I wouldn't worry. Could it be your cervix? If it's just at the back, you can move it slightly, it's squidgy and not painful, it could well be just that. It's not blocking your periods. Your period will flow through there when you have one. It's ok not to have started your period just yet.

There is no reason to assume that you should be having your period by age 13. It is not radically uncommon for menstruation not to occur until age 16. If you continue to have abdominal pains each month see an ob\gyn. I'm surpised that the provider that did the ultrasound did have anything more conclusive to say. You aren't neccessarilly in danger for any reason but regular discomfort (if you are experiencing that) should be addressed by an ob\gyn. If not relax, you're still a young girl.

Don't worry,
You have until your 16 to get your peroid!
TRUST ME, its nothing you cant wait for.
The lump does not sound normal,but if you've already consulted a doctor, there is nothing to worry about.
