My friend said yesterday shes going to commit suicide today. She wasnt at school, i tried calling her/texting her. IM REALLY SCARED! I have no way of contacting her. WHT IF SHES DEAD!!!! Me and her best friend went to the guidence counciler today and she said she was goign to call over there to make sure everything is alright. She did, no one anwsered. IM SOO SCARED!!!! What do i do?? Im in tears.. she would really do this too. its NOT a joke.. please!!

I know people are trying to be helpful by saying for you to go to her house but please don't; you are too young to handle that.
You did the right thing in telling your School counselor, now ask your parents to call the police and tell them exactly what she told you last night.
She may very well be trying to get attention/sympathy but she may truly be in danger of harming herself or already hurt.
Please try to calm down a little bit, until you know what's going on and let us know how things turn out.

She may be joking but you can never be too sure. you should ring the police or let the guidance counsellor do it, and if it was a joke she will sure feel embarassed. If its not I hope both of u turn out OK in the end! Keep optimistic aswell.. many people try and commit suicide and fail and some are too scared to do it. Only a very small amount of people actually go ahead with it and succeed so don't get too worked up. I have a friend who once tried but was absolutely fine i think really it is mainly a way of attention seeking

The guidance counselor should contact the police to go to the house to check on her. Her parents should also be called at work.

You should call her parents cell phone if you have the number or stop by her house immediately just incase. Tell your parents so they can maybe come in contact with her parents. You were right to go to the guidance counselor. My prayers are with you.

Tell your parents! See if you can drive to her house to find out if she is okay. Also, see if you can contact her parents. I'm sure the guidance counselor is following up on the situation, but it's best to let your parents know. I hope everything is okay.

Do you know where she lives? Leave school and go over to her house. Or tell your guidance councillor to call the police, and to tell them to go to her house and check on her.
