I like it and I agree with it. If I were to move to another country to live, I'd have enough respect for it to learn the language. It gets very old when you try to communicate with someone in your own country and they say they don't understand etc. Immigrants from Ireland, Germany, Italy and so on came over here to America respecting their laws wishing to become citizens and to learn our customs and language and help make it the melting pot and the great nation that it is and it should be the same now without exception.

Well yea you need to be able to speak english if your in america. But it's not like you can't speak your language. You know?? But the bumper sticker is a little rude.

I'd say it doesn't portray a very welcoming attitude.
Does this mean you have to speak ONLY English?
So freedom of speech only applies if you do it in English?
What do you say to the Amish?
What do you say to all the Native Americans?

English was once the primary language in America. I'm latina and will say everyone who is here should know enough english to get by. I totally agree with the bumper sticker.

how would you like it if you went to, for example, china or africa or a country in which people speak and write a different language than yours and you were asked to speak (and write) in that nation's language and you didnt know anything????
that's not welcome.... its dictator ship.

i think that is very messed and kind of judgmental America is suppose to be a melting pot of culture why are Americans being so rude now?

It's totally right. I just think that you need to know it. I mean come on if you dont know english we dont know your language go to where people can understand you.
