Have you ever had problems with a rebate from Office Depot?

i sent in for an Office Depot rebate that is 150 dollars and there tracking system says that it was mail almost a month ago.

it was two rebates one from HP for 50 dollars and one from Office Depot for 150 dollars

everytime i called them i tell them what has happened and that i didnt get anything and on the tracking system it has my name spelled wrong and stuff. then they place me on hold and then i get hung up on. it has happened 6 times

when i spoke to them they kept telling me the rebate was for 50 dollars and i have all the papers, the store paper, the rebate form , the reciept and they all say its for 150 dollars

they said the 50 dollar rebate was cashed already and i keep telling them the rebate is for 150 and then i ask them how do you know about that rebate it was sent to Hp and not Office Depot and they just change the subject.

and then the last time i called i was about to curse them out then the person said no habla ingles

OH boy, i just did the same as you for a printer i bought there.Its been only 1 week, but i hope i dont hsve this for my rebate. Thanks for the heads ups, and good luck

We use them and have never had trouble with rebates but I've been hung up on before ever getting to a human. Ask for a manager as soon as a human gets on the lines and if that doesn't work go into the store and have the customer service people help you get to someone who can resolve it, tell them you're not leaving until you speak with someone who can help you.

A) you should call the rebate center directly not Office Depot.
B) If you don't get anywhere with the rebate people then contact OD customer relations then file a complaint.

that's exactly what 's happening to me too. i got 50, but not 150. F office depot. staples is way better at mail in rebate.

and it looks like u bought a mini HP computer. isn't that sweet?
