It's easy to ridicule the celebs, but I do have sympathy for them (and Brittney's new/ex driver for example) when the paparazzi completely surrounds their car and basically pins them in.

If it were me, I'd install a truck or diesel train horn, blast it 3 times as a warning, then gun the engine, and whoever got run over, that would be their problem. Of course, that would get me thrown in jail. But I don't think it should.

As long as paparazzi do their job from a distance without physically interfering with someone's ability to move about freely and live their life, I don't have any problem with that. That's the price of celebrity.

But when the get in people's faces and interfere with their lives physically, I think it falls under the same rule as feeling physically threatened by an intruder or being assaulted, and then you have the right to fight back by whatever means necessary, even if it causes the attacker/intruder injury, or even death.

What do you think?

I totally agree with you, and it sure is nice to know I am not the only one that thinks that!

No, but I would drive slow enough that they can and at the same time are forced to safely move away, and I would continue driving until all clear and full speed ahead till they're out of sight.
I would also have a big sticker at the front of my car stating that the car will keep moving and anyone coming in front of the car may become injured. That way they are warned that you will not stop if they invade your space.

Sadly, the law won'y allow it. But yes, the paparazzi will kill themselves just to get a picture, Frankly, I am glad I am not famous, because I would do it. They impede on other people's right to privacy, who care if you are famous. Famous doesn't mean you should have your private life exploited for cash.

If I was a celebrity, I would stay paying out lawsuits. What is life with NO privacy.

You shouldn't have the right to run over the paparazzi. And they should not have the right to block your path.
