I'm interested in getting a Nintendo DS, but not really for Christmas. I'm willing to wait if it means getting a better price. Does anyone know of official news, rumors or anything else relating to a DS price drop in '08?

Usually electronics do go on sale, right after Christmas for a short time. Everyone who got stuff that either was broken, or not wanted......so stores drop prices to get more sales. However, the choices are slim pickings post Christmas...... Good luck!

No, it's still selling great at the current price so I don't see a price drop happening too soon.. Maybe by midyear 2008.

No you can't, the touch screen makes many more things do-able on the DS that are not do-able on the Psp. Like writing.

I think they will drop the price..
Besides that fact you do already know the price is ridiculous because of how low it is I mean come on it is like 119.99 or something like that.. It has great games and is a great handheld and second best ever made in my opinion (behind the PSP).. Crazy prices for a great game but I think it will be during summer break that the price drop will occur.

no but they will probably come down in price like any other thing like that!
if i were i would get a wii i got one in may and it is so much better than DS because you don't get bored of the wii but DS's get extremely boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!

u should get a psp the games have much etter graphics and u can do WAY more stuff with a psp ..that is just my suggestion :) i just got my psp and it's great:)
