Yes, to limit the Presidents ability to start another War in Iraq, Congressional term limits, and a balanced budget amendment.

No! I think the Founders did a much, much better job than anyone alive today could do.

Having a convention would open up ALL our freedoms for review, and revocation. Why take that gamble?

Nothing in life is perfect but the Constitution we have is pretty close. If there's something specific to fix we can pass an amendment.

In this day and age, no! the endless bickering, the lawyers who are involved! After they finished (in about 10 years) we'd have an even less functioning government that cost more than the one we have right now with a Constitutional that the average person couldn't understand at all.

No offense but that is a monumentally bad idea. First, there is nothing wrong with the one we have, it just needs to be followed.
Second, given the partisan schism that exists in Washington, do you really thing that Republicans and Democrats could agree on a new constitution in anything approaching a reasonable amount of time?

Not a chance, we have a constitution and need to protect it at all cost. If we were to have another convention, they could use it to cancel any right that we now have.

If it is, it will only be to restore the document itself, since it's been pulled apart so badly over the years. Metaphorically speaking, of course.
