The most popular example is probably Girl Scout cookies, but there are many more.

Example: I just finished off a tub of frozen cookie dough I bought from a daughter of a coworker. Very healthy! D-:

Thanks!

I do if it is something I need. I don't normally buy just because of the "Cause". My daughters school wants them to sell magazine subscriptions and I refuse to even have her do it because last time we did, some of the people didn't get their magazines. Besides, with all the good internet information out there, I would not need to buy a subscription to a magazine most times.

I do love the Pizza hut kits, the cookie dough,Candy bars, and girl scout cookies. I always need those. :-D

Never, nor do I socialize with my coworkers, no off company property lunches, no baby showers, now x-mas exchanges, I dont buy from their children and I don't promote my nephew's fund raisers at work either. It seems cold but it is my JOB and I certainly don't want my personal life blending with my professional life. The only exceptions I make is when a coworker is ill or has suffered a tragedy such as a house fire. In those instances I contribute financially and offer my support.

Hm... Nope I don't considering ...

1. I have no friends
2. I have no co-workers
3. All the kids I know are on the other side of the planet and I tend to avoid my hubbys family as much as humanly possible ... being on the same Island and all

Just a ways down the street is the warehouse all the school crap comes from. They open to the public on Dec.1. I buy it there and pretend I paid *cough* inflated retail.
