No, but you can soak it in one part mouthwash and one part water overnight in a glass or jar and it cleans and deodorizes it.

No. Toothbrushes are intended to be used for 3-6 months then tossed.
I'd be worried that some of the nylon bristles would detach and drop down to the heating element in the dishwasher and start a fire.
I've seen some toothbrush sanitizing solution out there; that might be a better option for you if you want to thoroughly clean your toothbrush.

I've put the toothbrushes in the dishwasher and no fires or fusing of bristles has happened.... The brushes came out clean/fresh... I also change our brushes every 3-6 months... Generally, I sanitize our toothbrushes about once a week.... NEVER had a problem....
Good luck

No...I don't think the dish soap would be very good, not to mention it'd be much harder to rinse out of a close-set bristle toothbrush than it is from say a glass or plate.

ICK no. There are more germs floating around the kitchen sink area than in the bathroom even.
If you are really a germophobe try dipping it into hydrogen peroxide then let it air dry.

no, I guess it's not as gross as it sounds, you wash silverware. I would be afraid that the heat would melt the bristles together And even though I know that it isn't logical it would still gross me out.
