come on pals. i m talkin bout power consumed by pc. so that i can calculate kwh of each pc.

The question is very ambiguous... Are you talking about the power consumed by the computer, the power provided by the AC adapter, or the power drawn by the AC adapter from the grid? For example, my old Sony VAIO has an AC adapter that can draw up to 240 watts from the socket and supply up to 150 watts (19.5 V * 7.7 A) to the computer. So 150 watts is the peak consumption level. At that level, the computer can run full blast (lots of disk seeks, high CPU load, USB devices plugged in, etc.) while charging the battery. Needless to say, computers rarely work with full power utilization...

Power is equal to voltage times current. So multiply the rms voltage by the rms current to calculate the power.
