okay, it's known that i HATE my christmas tree. can't have a real one and can't stand the fake one. i mean, REALLY can't stand the fake one. i thought about cutting a giant tree shape out of wood, staining it real nice and covering it with little nails. lean that against the wall and still be able to put all my decorations on it. anybody ever heard of that? or have any suggestions?? come on now, you guys are the best!

I think you idea is absolutely ingenious! I think that will be amazing! The nicest thing about it is you can make it the exact size you want and only one tree will give up it's life! You can use it again and again.

Merry Christmas!

For the last two years I have not had a tree upstairs in my place. I've hung ornaments on my plants, on the window curtains, on my two hooked rugs I have on the wall. I've taken ones that can sit and put them on shelves, counters, etc. I even have one of those glass lamps that I've hung a few on as well as on my other lampshades. I have a lot of hanging mobiles that I take down for Christmas and hang larger ornaments up there instead.

As your Christmas cards come in tape them to the wall in the shape of a tree

Get a little sleigh and pile your gifts on that

Put all your gifts in and around a very large santa bag

*** Your old ordaments for the tree can be put around vases or displayed in bowls. use the ribbon or garland for wrapping gifts. Give some of your old ordaments as gifts as the bow on a present.
