I wanted a puppy,we had one dog,Judy, who I loved very much. We'd had her from a pup, she was my best friend and she was 6 ,but my Mum always said one dog was enough.
Judy lived for 14 years and I was 18 when she died,it hurt that much I was glad at the time we didn't get another so I wouldn't have to go through the loss again.
When I left home and married I did get a dog eventually and have had dogs ever since,it hurts like hell when you lose them but somehow my house isn't a home without one.

I wanted a dog ever since I can remember but my parents never got me one, so my hubby got me not just one but two, not for Christmas but they are the best gifts I have ever gotten in my life of living.

I wanted a Cabbage Patch doll and a drum set. My mom wasn't going to stand in line for a Cabbage Patch doll and my dad 86'd the idea of a drum set.

when i was little i always wanted a pony or a little brother, every christmas i wrote to santa, but know that i'm a lot older, i understand y i didn't get it; but its ok, because now i have 2 horses and if i had a little brother, i would probably of strangled him, because i was so use to being an only child.

No... my parents pretty much got me what I wanted. Not to say that I was spoiled, but I didn't really have many wants then. What I needed and never felt I got was their attention and affection... even now I try to seek it with no avail.

YES!! A doll baby that came in a case with a bunch of outfits to put her in. I asked for that every year and never got it.
