I've been so uncomfortable with it for all my life. If I were to do it, it would be for me, not for anyone else. I'm not stupid and I don't think that getting a nose job will fix all my problems, nor will I really base my decision on what people on Yahoo! Answers think; it would just be nice to have some other people's perspective.

I like your nose. I think you are very pretty and have a unique look. Don't do it unless you really feel insecure, then do it and make yourself feel better. By no means do I think you need one.

I have myself been considering this operation for all my life so far, I have a normal sized but distinctive nose that my brother and I share ( his is bigger but just the same). I am not in love with it and think a different nose could make me look better , a little more polished and pretty by conventional standards but at the end of the day I would also hate to take out a distinctive feature that links me to my brother and father ( his the culprit ;-). So, I would say to be proud of your nose because when you are, it becomes a distinctive and beautiful feature, if you don't like it , it will be perceived as a flaw... You are gorgeous!

Your nose is hardly disfiguring or the first thing people would notice about your face. Unless you are really 100% determined and dedicated about getting a career in modeling, acting, or other image-based fields, a nose job would be really unnecessary.
You seem to have the right attitude in general about it, and ultimately only you can decide how important this is to you. If it makes you profoundly unhappy, and the cost and pain of surgery is worth it to you, then go for it - but from a stranger's point of view, you certainly don't need it.

This is my personal take on the photos you have posted. I don`t care how old you are or how old you look. But i do think your nose is of caricature of you. Besides being a real good looking gal try looking at some of the stars. You will match up with Sara jessica Parker. Now there is a hot woman in my book. So if you are matching up with her make your mind up if you are having trouble with the area not because you think it is large. Because it is not as big as you think it is. To you it looks big because you are a petite woman. Hey it is just my opinion and you do know about opinions.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the way you look.
Be happy with who you are, but if you seriously think that it's something you'd be happy with knowing there's no way to go back once you get it done then do it.
I had a friend who insisted that she get liposuction on her rear. This was all because of her mother's own issues when there was nothing wrong with my friend.
Just make sure that the decision is yours because it's something that you want. Not because of someone else's own self issues or because your boyfriend or girlfriend thinks you'd look great doing it.
I've taken 10 years to decide to get a tattoo and I'm still deciding on what I want. :-)
There's no rush.

You are such a pretty young woman. I like the nose, but if you would feel better having surgery and it will make you more confident and happy then do what you think is right.

Amen, sister! You sound like you have a good head on your shoulders. I think you're gorgeous WITH your nose and you have a great profile. You have what people refer to as a Romanesque nose. Sometimes it's our imperfections that make us beautiful. Don't do it, it's not worth it. But it is your choice! Good luck!

well, i think you're really pretty, but sometimes things like that can change people's entire outlooks. some people just say it's vanity, but if it's always bothered you and if having a nose job would honestly give you more confidence and make you happier, then who cares what anyone says?
do what would make you happier. :]

i dont think you need to, but no one thought i needed to either,but i did, and i'm really happy about it. you are your worst critic. no one else really notices, but if you want to, go for it!
