The temperature where exactly?

To answer your question you need to tell us the location since the temperature differs greatly from place to place.

For someone in the Southern Hemisphere Christmas always comes at the hottest time of the year so that date would have been sweltering in Buenos Aires, Argentina or Sydney, Australia but a little cold in New York or London.

It warmed up suddenly after a cold period. It was rather warm but rainy. I remember because I went to an important event on the 20th and it was actually warmer later that night than during the day. The 21st was the same.

New Jersey.
