definitely. this is such an effective deterrent. it not only protects the students, it protects their futures. it should be used in conjunction with a rewards scheme too, maybe linked to health, like a draw for a luxury gym/spa membership or something. MDT's are of course highly successful in the prison estate, and despite the vast diffferences, has the same intrinsic issues. also, there should be a major promotion on holistic alternatives and other strategies to cope with issues which are often linked to substance misuse in young people. In addition, there should be visitors to the school, ex- substance users, with a bit of cred, who can talk to young people about the devastating effects recreational drug use can have. !! what do you think?!

i think of it may do fairly some toddlers some good. in the event that they cut back down on their marijuana utilization, they could finally end up getting extra advantageous grades for one, and doubtless a job lol. Take the toddlers whilst i became into substituting as an occasion: on a daily basis it regarded like the subject count of smoking weed could arise in college. Over a million/2 of them have been from initiatives and undesirable families that did no longer strengthen them to care and do exactly what they needed/felt. in the event that they had to stop college -circulate forward! there's a time and place for each little thing, yet college isn't the area to be intense. And in case you made necessary drug assessments -they have not any reason to convey it to college (risk-free practices and surroundings). As for freedom, you don't get actual freedom until it is taken away. And weed isn't a freedom, it is by no skill been criminal. it may by no skill BE criminal.

Yeah I think they should heck there is mandatory drug testing in the work center ..school is a childs job and that childs job can be effected by drugs in a negative way. It would make a lot of children think twice and that would be a good thing!

For how much school officials and parents may feel this is a good idea, it's another step in invading personal privacy. This should be determined by the individual parents themselves and not anyone else. One should take notice to what their own kids are into. Let the schools worry about other problems, like grades, things that "public" schools should be doing.

If removing personal choice, they remove the human dilemma of conformity or compliance.
Therefore, the human ability for social progress fails in a morality based judgment society.
You will not understand this for another 15 years -- some never do.
