Tubal ligation is not %100 effective for preventing pregnancy. Perhaps you should perform an EPT at home and if symptoms persist, see your OB/GYN at your earliest convenience. I had my ligation done in 2003 and I have suffered with the worst, longest, heaviest periods of my life since then and so far I've never been able to find any reasonable explanation for this in spite of the fact that it seems to be a very common occurrence among women who have had this surgery. (After all, nothing has been removed, merely cut) If you begin to experience pain then I would get to the Dr ASAP in case it is an ectopic. Otherwise, I'd suspect it's simply the commonly associated worsening of PMS & period.

Good luck.

I had my tubes tied 21 years ago. They tell you no more worries of getting pregnancy. Yes that is true, but what they don't tell you is all the thing that do happen like anxiety, period with more symptoms than ever. It mess the body up. My daughter also had her tubes tied and now she has dizziness before her period. She had to go on Zoloft and the patch. Talk to your Doctor. Maybe there is something they can do to help.

Your symptoms could be a lot of other things, some serious like getting diabetes. There now you can worry about something other than pregnancy (pretty low risk there). Go to the Dr.
