all i can speak for is me, i dont know "usually"
but.
slept thru night at 4 months. but only occasionally, shes 8 months now and still will wake on occasion.
started crawling at 6 1/2 months, scooted alot before, dragging herself everywhere.
not walking yet, but pulling up, and going from one thing to another with ease.
also no words, of course, i think i hear things all the time.
lots of dada's, oohhh, hi's ( sounds like :) papa
don't get discouraged, they all develop differently, and as soon as they learn something, thats the last time they will learn that. i know it sounds crazy. but i miss the firsts of when she found her feet, etc...
it goes by too quickly for sure. now i see why people have multiple kids. :)
enjoy everything!
good luck to you both

Every baby is different and will progress at there own speed. there are no right or wrong answers to any of your questions. Sleeping through the night can happen right off the bat or never- or at least what feels like never- by the time they are on solid food is usually a good bet. Crawling can happen anywhere between 6-12 months sometimes even a little earlier- but not much. Walking could happen 9 months up depending on how well your baby is able to balance and hold himself up. Once they start walking along the furniture, holding on- you know it won't be too long from then. And Talking, well my daughter started at 9 months but my son wouldn't utter a word until he was 3 1/2. And both were normal as can be. But trust me once they do start to talk- they will never shut up from that day on.
Congrats and good luck!!

Well first question a baby can sleep right threw the night from birth and some take up to six months. Two babies start to crawl as early as seven months to nine months. Three a baby can walk as early as ten months or most at a year. The last one would be as early as ten or eleven months usually mommy or daddy.Depending on what is said the most around the child.

It varies. I was talking in complete sentences at 6 months. I was crawling about the same time as that. I started walking at 1.5 years old. It all depends on the child and it's comfort-abilities. However sleeping through the night should start happening at 5-6 months old. I was a worse case though. I went to bed at 12 am every night and got up at 5 am. I was very cranky at times too. Don't freak out if your child hasn't reached a milestone.

All babies are different, i have two boys, my 1st slept through at 4 weeks, he was crawling at 6 months, and started to walk on his 1st birthday, he didn't say his 1st proper word until he was around 18 months..My 2nd son slept through at 4 months, didn't crawl he rolled everywhere, started walking when he 15 months, but also said his 1st proper word at around 15 months..I am now pregnant with my 3rd boy and i can guarantee he will be different again..
Hope that helps, and all the best

babies develop at different rates....
one of mine said her first word at 5 months, crawled at 6mths, walked at 9mths.
my baby girl(now 4) crawled at 6 mths, spoke first word at 8mths and walked at 1year.
my neice did not walk til 15 mths and talked at 11 months.she crawled late too but idk how old.
when it tis time, they will. if not wlaking or talking by 18 months, get them checked for disabilities.

if you go to babycenter.com and sign up. you will get weekly emails telling you what development milestones to expect from your baby at the current age. My toddler is 2.5 now and I still love that website.
