Five years ago I had just put my mom into a home for Alzheimer's patients after caring for her at my own home for several years, two weeks later my old home burned to the ground. So five years ago, I had no idea where I'd be on the morrow much less in five years time. Isn't life strange?

I never thought I'd be here. I'm an entire country away from where I thought I'd be. I have an entirely different job, doing stuff I'd never thought I'd do. And, I think I just met one of the seetest men on the earth. More to come on him later ;)

No. had another boy in the last 5 years,made it to 10 yrs of marriage and gone back to work in travel,so the last 5 have been pretty good really

I had no intentions of being where I am right now. But I'm glad I am where I am because even though there's a couple things I regret, I wouldn't go back and change a thing.

Not in a million. I have two beautiful girls and another baby on the way....I'm the happiest mommy in the world. And almost chose not to have kids...that thought alone brings tears to my eyes.

I though I'd have a better career with a higher position.
It didn't pan out that way. I'm not doing too bad, just not where I expected. I had higher expectations.

5 years ago I figured that I'd still be working my butt off...which I am doing now, but then I also figured I'd be married with at least 1 child by now. (hasn't happened yet)
