Being happy is about having realistic expectations. The kind of grasping individuals who aren't satisfied unless they have loads of status items and designer clothing - in other words, stuff - will never be happy (think Michael Jackson), nor will those who have to be dominant in every situation, have to be right all the time - because there will always be people you clash with. Happiness is about taking pleasure in your day-to-day life, looking forward to seeing friends, doing things you enjoy and are interested in.

Be happy!

I think not happy but "joy" or "inner peace" when I can look in the mirror and know im right with God and everyone that I love and that I know I'm doing the best I can with what I have,,, I honestly believe you get what you give,,and I'm just bummed it took me so long to figure out that the people that love you just want your honesty (good or bad) they just want the truth

food, exercise, people, excitement, drugs... lots of things can make a person happy.

Some people (those often referred to as psychopaths) derive happiness from things that bring other people pain.

Some (S&M's) find pleasure in the sharing (giving and receiving) of pain in a sexual manner.

The list goes on and on... really... I guess EVERYTHING and ANYTHING could make SOMEONE happy.
