Right now -- MESSY -- but that is because this Empty-Nesting Single Retiree is RENOVATING her BEDROOM -- painting, I'll be removing the horrible Wall-to-Wall Carpeting (and putting down WOOD), Putting in NEW Real Wood Mouldings, and just doing everything I need to do to have a FRESH, CLEAN room!
(The other part is the fact that I am also going through every closet and nook/cranny in the home -- DONATIONS, Throw-Aways, and Keeps -- mainly because in the Last year -- I've become an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree ... and am preparing the house to SELL it and move closer to MY Family in my Elder years!)
And .. since the Adult children didn't want things (or even care about them) ... it is TIME for THINGS to go -- and I MEAN IT!!! NO MORE being forced to deal with messes -- NOW it is MY HOME for ME -- and MY Hard Work EARNED it -- so ... I am going to slim down in things and DO IT MY WAY!!!! (YEAH! Finally!)

I share a little room with my sister and we're on completely opposite ends of the neatness spectrum.
My side is neat except for the homework all over my desk, but all her crap is spilling over and it's almost impossible to get to the door.

Its neat during the week, but then when the weekend comes, it looks like turbo has gone through it. Its crazy.
