Lots of talk about animal control on here lately. I found these new videos PETA is putting out.

It definitely gets the message across, loud and clear! It's memorable, which is good... people really do need to fix their animals.

The hard part is, I can't take anything Peta says about animal control seriously.. They don't actively run an animal control..
Their spay/neuter numbers are less "total" then my old animal shelter used to do in a year.. I lived in the south, in a high kill area and we had better save numbers then PETA, a huge national organization with MILLIONS of dollars of donations every year..
The video isn't so bad, but, I haven't had a single, solitary good experience with PETA and I don't respect their opinions.. I really think they should leave the animal control message alone.. The general public doesn't listen to PETA and it could even ruin our efforts to promote spay/neuter because people mistrust PETA that much..
They really need to stick to what they normally do..

Peta is an organization built on hypocracy. Peta euthanizes more animals every year than a major animal shelter will.
The V.P. of Peta actively argues against animal testing. Yet she is a diabetic. Insulin treatment was discovered doing tests on dogs. When they asked her why she still protests against testing, without which she would die, she replied that the animals need me alive to fight for them

PETA's just full of a bunch of hypocrites I would not put it past them to have staged the videos as they seem to love killing animals and dumping them in the trash like garbage.

I wouldn't trust anything PETA says, particularly about animal control, given their tendency to euthanize animals in vans and dump them in supermarket dumpsters.

I don't watch or listen to ANYTHING that PETA puts out. Propaganda GALORE!!!!!!!! The are a special interest group and can spin ANYTHING to their liking.

People don't necessarily have to spay their dogs if they don't want to. They could just prevent it from interacting with male dogs. I agree with the video about adopting animals though. I don't understand why people refuse to adopt greyhounds. They are full bred and they have a great personality.
