You should move to British Columbia. The whole province would fail a drug test if it's only pot you're looking at.
What the hell does selling real estate have to do with smoking pot every once and awhile (or even daily)? I really don't understand this ridiculous "war on drugs".

I do not believe that it is a state law that real estate agents undergo a drug screen, but it is possible that your managing broker will require random unannounced testing. My firm requires random mandatory testing, simply to insure that we do not have agents running around in a stupor making expensive errors.

Directly from the Virginia real estate licensure requirements:

"The applicant shall not have been convicted or found guilty, regardless of the manner of adjudication, in any jurisdiction of the United States of a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude, sexual offense, drug distribution or physical injury, or any felony, there being no appeal pending therefrom or the time for appeal having elapsed."

That should be a strong hint concerning the use and distribution of banned substances regarding a real estate license in Virginia.

I guess the fact that you feel you need to ask makes it a problem.

Stay clean and don't worry.
