The media are the ones that made her crazy if you haven't realized. she can't even take a sh*t without it being broadcast on the front of a paper headline: BRITNEY SPEARS TOOK A SH*T TODAY"...lol..i mean it's ridiculous..she is followed around 24/7, that would make anybody nuts to a certain extent..my goodness..that's why when they say the stars attack the photographers and stuff, I laugh, cuz i can just imagine how they feel. and if you don't cooperate with them, they say nasty, awful things just to get ur attention. (i saw a special on this on VH1). Its crazy..but they are a little tough on her though.

unfortunately when you have a lifestyle and a career that puts you in the spotlight then you consiously know you are going to be looked at through different views. Just like if property managers were famous then anything i would do would be viewed the same way. Fact is brittany spears is a role model for many women and people. She is a fantasy for many guys. Would you rather the media say "hey brittany, lets just let you hit a car and get away with it so that a 16 yr old (or younger gets behind the wheel) and hits someone or something and then drives off... that is a great way to teach or show people right from wrong. Think about it, if she knows that people are constantly watching her and she still makes these horrible mistakes she has some serious issues... it's like when you were a kid and you got grounded or got a bad grade.. did you continously make mistakes or did you try really hard to be good so your parents would forgive you... she just makes mistake after mistake after mistake and it's not affecting just her life... it's affecting the lives of the people she has hurt (running a red light, hitting a car then leaving, driving without proper child restraints) and then all of this is shown to the world.

Well, if it weren't for the media, Britney would be no one. For years she courted the media, because that's money in the bank. Then the bizarre behavior began, the two day wedding, the encounters with the law, a second marriage to someone who already had two children out of wedlock, the drinking the drugs, the shaved pudenda displayed panty-less.
You camplain that everyone is picking on her, and you neglect the fact the media made her in the first place.
Trust me, if she behaved like a normal responsible human being for a while, the media would become bored and leave her alone. Until she steps up and acts like an adult, she has no one to blame but herself.
And BTW, as a musician, she's not very good.

There are many people like Britney that do crazy things. It may not be the fact that she's had kids and she relates to a hillbilly, or the fact she shaved her head to put a tattoo on her head. She's just what gets readers attention. Alot of this may be lies, there are many siguations in which the media lie. She's a great singer and that's all anyone should care about.

They make it impossible not to follow her story. It's like watching a car wreck, you don't want to look but something makes you turn your head. The tabloids know that right now people want to see where she's going next and can provide really easy access into her life. At almost every turn she seems to be doing something crazy and if they can snap a picture and sell it for $100,000 than they will. Britney isn't like the average person being chased by photographers. Some people feed off of all the attention, whether good or bad and she seems to be one of them. If she wants to change the image the media portray, than she's going to have to take steps towards straightening out her behavior. A few of these things seem like mistakes anyone could make, but I have to be honest and say that I would never change my underwear in a store, especially not with photographers around. Things will get better for her as soon as she decides that she wants them to. Her life will never be normal and there will always be people waiting for her to mess up, but she can make it a lot easier on herself.

it's wrong, but it's what sells... and it's always been like that. I guess it's a price you pay for Celebrity-status.. It's not a secret though, and she as well as everyone else in the game should know that by now.. SO knowing you are gonna be followed by paparazzi everywhere you go in public, maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to put your infant in a car seat, or try NOT to run over members of the press (no matter how tempting it is) It sucks, but we all have consequences we must face for our bad decisions.. I don't think she minds too much tho.. those MILLIONS she has probably makes the scrutiny a little more bearable.

Why the media is so hard on Britney Spears?
Because they are attracted to trailer trash? I don't know, I saw the K-Fed/Spears video and was not that impressed.

It may be wrong but when you accept celebrity status and the gazillion dollars that goes along with it you have signed away any and all rights to privacy any time you are in public, and that includes public records like arrest reports and court proceedings.
I don't share your opinion of this tramp but even if I did, it wouldn't change the fact she is a celebrity, she makes millions of dollars from that and all the "media" is doing is feeding the mill of worshipers who flock to her. Stop reading the Enquirer and other such gossip rags and the problem you see will go away. With no gossip comes no rumors, no celebrity status, no lack of privacy and no gazillion dollars. Ask Britney which she would prefer.
The name escapes me but decades ago a celebrity said, "I don't care what they say about me as long as spell my name right".
That's the bottom line; are they spelling her name correctly?

Well, it's b/c of how she projected herself in the being of her career as the "hot girl next door". She came out claimed virginity up till she was like 21-22 and in all her interviews she always hailed by the interviewee as "down to earth" and "sweet". She was suppose to be appealing to young females of the ages of 10-18......then all of a sudden she just goes buck wild and tries to switch up her image to a "bad girl" and it just didn't work b/c she's a mom now. There's a certain lvl of dignity you should uphold when you're a mother. A mother isn't suppose to go out clubbing and whorring up. Look, even Madonna calmed downed and stopped trying to be a sex symbol when she had children. Brittney Spears obviously missed the boat on that. You can't have 2 kids and expect everyone to accept you clubbing it up like you were single again. She has a responsiblity to do right and keep a good public image now that she is a mom.

Because she has done some really dumb things for everyone to see. We all have, but the media will rip anyone apart and take it to the extreme when someone like her is in the public eye. I feel bad for her. She grew up in the public eye, and seemed to get caught up in the 'Hollywood life'. One day she'll come out of all this I hope.
