Actually I have an interesting fact for you... Did you know that 82% of crimes commited against illegals are commited by illegals! The percentage might have changed a little but I did a paper an argumentative essay on it last year. These illegals come here set up shop; ship in more illegals then slave out their own people! And they are still getting past the border. http://usinfo.state.gov/gi/Archive/2004/Nov/09-464819.html

Any statistics on such crimes will be little more than guesses, tainted by the compilers own views on the subject.

No-one doubts that a lot of crimes committed against illegals are never reported because the illegal is afraid to contact the police, but by it's very nature unreported crime is impossible to accurately count.

I don't think any government agency that tracks crime (police, FBI, etc.) keep numbers on the immigration status of the victims. Perhaps you could contact agencies that help illegal immigrants and see if they have some reliable numbers.

it would be hard to do that, because alot of that goes unreported for fear of deportation. Most illegals don't know that they can't be deported if they are reporting a crime....or more of them would be reporting it. They are afraid of cops, period.

I realize this doesn't quite answer your question. But. Try putting that on ask.com. Should bring up some government web sites to check out?!
