If by pregnant you mean holding the cichlids in her mouth (this is called 'holding') then you are looking at about 21-30 days, depending on what kind of cichlid you are talking about.

What cichlid is it? Usually cichlids take about a couple of weeks before laying eggs, and then you'll see she would hide away for a few days. The male would usually guard the entrance to the hideaway, expect to see fry in about another week or two. Keep feeding them good quality food but take care not to disturb or stress them as they might eat the eggs or abandon them. Motherbrooders are slightly different, but nevertheless should show some interesting parental behaviours
Good luck!

If you "cichlid" is an African Rift Lake species and she has a swollen belly, she's not "pregnant" she's sick. The disease is called Malawi Bloat and odds are she will die in a few days.
More information would be a huge help, since there are literally thousands of different species of cichlids world-wide.
